"Last October I went for a trim ("Just take off a nibble" was the exact phrase I used) and a dark caramel balayage on a dark base. My hair had not been coloured for almost a year and the last colour had been carried out at Paint. My hair was in very good condition. I booked with their supposed top colourist, Jennifer Tate, and used an example of her own work to demonstrate the colour I was looking for. So far, so good. I entered the salon with long brunette hair, all one length and well below my shoulders. I came out with short layers and heavily over-bleached hair. I had to go to another salon and pay for hair extensions until my hair had grown to look even half-way presentable. The manager, Lucy, conceded my experience had been terrible (I have photographic evidence so it was pretty difficult to disagree) and agreed to a refund. Despite numerous messages, she has now avoided all attempts at contact including a letter before action, so we're en-route to the Small Claims Court! Draw from this your own conclusions about the interview process for stylists and customer service offered by the management. Avoid at all costs would be my advice. EDIT: Despite providing proof from my bank that I have not been refunded, nothing has been done to resolve this."
