"I HAVE A REGULAR GARAGE WHO I HAVE USED FOR A WHILE NOW, AS I BROKEDOWN (CLUTCH FAILED) NEARBY TO CRAVEN (NEW NAME NOW) I TOOK IT THERE, THEY SQUEEZED ME IN AND MANAGED TO DO THE JOB MUCH QUICKER THAN QUOTED. VERY HAPPY AND WILL USE THEM NOW AS MY 1ST CHOICE."
"Dropped in as car making loud grinding noise and knocking, assumed wheel bearing. Left for day. Get call in evening that nothing is wrong with it. Told them there definitely was, advised they'll have another look in the morning. Called before lunch and they hadn't even looked. I suggested i was being messed about a bit and was given choice of picking it up or leaving it with them. Not a fan of being shouted at, so I took it to another garage who found some damaged bushes and the brake disc guard was grinding on the disc in about 10 min whilst I was there."
"Took a BMW 1 Series in due to a wiring issue and diagnosed as an ABS Module without any fault finding .Then a windscreen wiper motor was the issue.And eventually the car was sent to another garage for fault finding and wiring loom work doing. Theres plenty of garages around and this is just one. Absolute joke!!"
"Not used these lovely guys for a couple of years because I get a staff discount at Halfords Autocentres BUT I highly recommend Craven - I used them for years and they're always in my choice list if I don't use work's garage - I was once quoted over £2000 for a car repair and was told "You'll never get it through another MOT as it's engine's tired unless you pay minimum £2000" ....... I took it to Craven and they fixed it and MOTd it for £200! It then passed another 7 MOTS but they were totally honest with me when it really was time for the car to go when they could easily have fleeced me because they knew I loved my car. I actually feel guilty that I don't use them any more but with car repairs having a 25% at my own company's garages is a no-brainer but I still recommend Chris and the rest of the excellent staff at Craven to everyone ------- I do miss giving Squirrel the dog a cuddle too. In a nutshell - a good, honest, family run garage who have a fantastic local reputation for their work and their honesty."
