"My wife and I were recently visiting the Tintwistle area, and had been to the Valehouse and Bottoms Reservoirs. Leaving the carpark, a tell-tale thumping noise alerted us to the presence of a metal object embedded in the rear nearside tyre of our camper van. Having learned by painful experience, I declined the temptation to remove object. A quick Google Search told us that the closest Tyre Fitter was Paul Symes in Hyde, and a quick phone call saw us en route to that establishment. We were speedily dealt with on arrival, brought in to the workshop when the last job had been completed, and shown to the waiting room while the job was under way. We were kept informed of progress, and ultimately were given the all-clear on the puncture! The metal object had not penetrated the full depth of the tyre! The wheel was soon re-installed, and we were back on our travels in the reassuring knowledge that the tyres were all intact. So full marks on every level - service, speed, courtesy, and of course - price. Thoroughly recommended."
