"Always been to Marus they have reopened after refurbishment but does not look new apart from a few tables installed. Anyways, bhajias are still good, but passion juice tasted very watered down. This is the second time the passion juice tasted watered down. We normally have the Kenya bhel but this time we were full up so did not have it but is definitely worth having . just had the double portion bhajias and as could not finish all, took away tge rest."

"This place has changed since it has a new owner. I believe the speciality of the place when previously owned was rooted in a Gujarati Kenyan owner however now the service is APPALLING and the food HAS changed. It al most seems as if the owner is deliberately strategic and it gets boring after you've been there for hours. The bhajia are soggy not crispy, you'llbe searching for crisp! The owner has basically ruined a legendary place. We were queueing from 530pm onwards still there are 7pm eating the only 2 small items we ordered it was pathetic. There was a family seated well before us and they were moaning - they took some of their food as a take away?! It beats me why we go there to eat a bunch of potatoes - where's the nourishment in that anyway?!"

"Maru’s bhajia are famous within the Gujarati community and they taste amazing. The red chutney is just so delicious, it’s the right mix of sweet, spicy and tangy. I did feel the taste of the famous bhajia wasn’t the same as I remembered them but still very enjoyable. Located on a busy high road, parking is hard to find. Buses are in the area and Wembley Central Or Alperton station will help you get here."

"We went there on Friday 5th August and the sauces were too spicy. When the waiter came with a milder sauce it was tamarind water not sauce! Honestly, I was looking forward to visit this place after refurbishment but was shocked at the change in attitude and sauces. Maybe they should call it chilli bhajia house instead. Is the spicy sauce designed to make you want to drink more? Get you ordering the drinks etc? I am shocked and will be avoiding this place. The owner just can't take constructive criticism."

"First visit, my brother has been before. Bhajia is the must try item of the menu so we got that and mogo. There is no denying there is msg or flavour enhancer all over the bhajias, thats what makes them addictive. The mogo was much better than the bhajia's, much crispier and will make you feel satisfied. It would have been nice if they were able to make them tasty without cheating with flavour enhancer."
