"We bought vada from this place and it was expired. We took the food back to shop and showed it to them. And the shop would not take any responsibility, which was quite shocking. We asked them to taste their own food which they wouldn’t too which wasn’t surprising. AVOID this shop if you can unless you want to end up with food poisoning. AVOID!AVOID!AVOID!"

"Absolutely amazed by the quality and variety of sweets available there. The store was very well-stocked, with a huge selection of Gujarati and Indian sweets. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and they provided great advice. I was especially impressed by their quality of service and the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be returning to Jalaram Sweet Mart in the near future. Highly recommended!"

"Staff were very less, there was just one person to take take of everything today. The tables weren't clean, it would be good if they cleaned after a customer uses a table. Generally, felt a slight sweet tinge in the food, maybe that's the traditional way. We loved the punjabi samosa. Pani puri was good too. There are a lot of sweets and savouries but we didn't try today. Bhel puri was okay. Good option for vegetarians but service could be improved."

"The chilli paneer had a great flavour being both sweet and medium spiced. It cost £3.50 which is a fair price for the portion size. The paneer and pizza samosas lacked flavour and I prefer the ones from Shayona. The green chutney was a nice complement to the samosas."

"The place was clean and customer service was satisfactory. However, the food was very very oily, no wet wipes or hand washing facility, and no recycling process in place for rubbish. Once these issues improve I feel the buisness standards will be raised."
