"I always walk pass this shop. And have a look through the windows. I always felt I was not quite ready to afford the brilliant exclusive pieces in there. One day, I saw a fire STOCKPORT viaduct T-shirt (no, it really was) through the window. I had to choose between that and dinner. My stomach won. The next time, it was around Father's Day and I chose Middlegate for a walk. Then I accidentally encouraged my girlfriend into the shop. What a shop this spot is. The arrangement, the scent, the style of the shop owners/attendants. In the end she bought me a wonderful top (I'm too old to say "sick top"). Best Father's Day gift ever. Thank you O.T.G.S."

"People may slate Stockport, but the old town is steeped in history and is something not to be missed. So much to see and do from the old markets, traditional pubs, amazing restaurants and fish & chios and out door markets. There really is something for everyone. It's quirky Street layout and pubs that you don't expect to be there are there again inside the building are like stepping back in time, it truly is a magnificent place. The retail centre, the cinema to name but a few. The council really have invested and made it very appealing. Well worth a visit, just for the historical parts and the narrow walkways to shops including the adult shop next door to a photographers shop!! Cant beat it. Well maybe some do! If you are bored I'd highly recommend a visit anytime."
