"Nice evening with the wife and friends. Friendly staff helped us to pick out a lovely bottle of Merlot. Our friends joined us on a nice corner table and we had a very pleasant evening. Everyone in the pub was enjoying themselves, but no bad behaviour. A pub I would recommend for a night out and a nice bottle of red. Can't comment on the food but certainly a good choice available on the menu."

"The pub was immaculate and beautifully decorated for Christmas with gorgeous lights and a warm feeling. The service was spot on, friendly and fast. The food was absolutely tasty, it was very well presented and cooked/made perfectly! I could not believe the excellent value for money for what we got! "Such a nice pub! Had the 3 course meal. Weekdays from 12pm till 5pm and was amazing value for what you get. Times between dishes were perfect yo help you settle with the last dish. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The whole experience was amazing!"

"I really like this pub, it’s cosy with the fire on, it’s nicely decorated, great size with plenty of seats and I‘m looking forward to making it to a quiz night here at some point… Yesterday we ordered food, and it was a little disappointing that only a much smaller menu was available. Starters were limited so I chose the breaded mushrooms - big mistake! So incredibly over cooked with whatever was inside (oil/juice?) was like lava; when you eventually find a way through the baked on crust you’re likely to burn your lip/mouth/tongue. The hunters chicken was decent though and hearty. I skipped dessert but the ones I saw being delivered looked lovely."
