"I am sorry to say that I would recommend you avoid this takeaway for the following reasons: Portion size, cooking, quality of ingredients. 1. The king prawn puri consists of only 2 prawns, and to disguise the ridiculously small portion (other restaurants give 4) the chef cuts up the prawns into tiny pieces, this results in a dry tasteless prawn as well as the tiny portion. 2. the fluffy bread that comes with the puri is not fluffy. It is a dense piece of undercooked bread, that manages to also be soggy, thanks to the chef packing it under the prawn puri sauce in the same container, instead of placing it in a separate bag like all other restaurants. 3. The lamb in my pasanda was of poor quality and cut so ridiculously small. It was tough and over cooked. Maybe it was a good thing that there was hardly any of it. It was a watery pasanda with scattered pieces of tough lamb. A pasanda soup if you will. 4. I asked for my masala to be made with chilli. The chef merely threw some raw green chilli on the top before sending . 5. Onion bhaji’s were stale (maybe old) and rock hard. We threw them away. I called to give feedback, and to the restaurants credit they were polite and offered to send out another prawn puri. However I will not be using this restaurant again."

"Takeaway with a friend who lives locally on a Saturday night. Food was great. Staff were friendly but the place was empty (probably because of COVID). If you don’t feel comfortable eating in, grab a takeaway. Hopefully you’ll enjoy it as much as we did"

"New to the area we came to eat in on a recommendation from one of our neighbours. Friendly welcoming staff who made some great recommendations. The Bengal Shobji ( mixed veg) was one of the best we have ever had. Food was freshly prepared - so do be prepared to order from a great range of starters so you can nibble on something tasty while you wait. You won’t get table cloths here but the food is great. Place did not seem busy ( CV driven trade away ) so we were a bit worried about venturing in. However they do a good steady takeaway trade , so popular with the locals"

"It takes a bit of courage to divert from your usual curry takeaway place, but boy am I glad that I did. Zainab Mahal provided me with an outstanding plate of food. I now have a new curry takeaway place which will require nerves of steel to divert from, if I ever do."
