"Best fish and chips I have ever had. Actually behind the FnC front there is a really small but Cosy easy area in wood-pub eatery style. And a great (very fresh) fish menu. So I got a grilled dover sole instead of a classic fry-up. It was brill. Our table also tried the king prawns. Chips come in two styles, classic soggy or crispy well done. They also cater for vegetarians and not just mushy peas which were great. A choice of salads available. The dessert menu has just 4 choices I think but who meds to look past the treacle pudding with lashings of custard?!! Staff on the ball and quick to catch the eye and serve. The food arrives piping hot and the plates were warmed. Lots of attention to detail which makes simple food super. No wonder they are famous !"
