"We had the privilege to have a real delicious Italian diner in this Italian style restaurant, own and running from professional Italian family. The restaurant is a "minimal chic" one, the owners were very friendly , the dishes were very well presented and tasteful made with fresh, high quality Italian ingredients and the wine were amazing ! We paid the right price and we ate the best Carbonara ever. Despite we were turists in the lovely city of Chester, we are convinced that we will be back again in this amazing restaurant. "The best Italian meal I have had outside of Italy. Service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was explained and the wine recommendation was spot on. Coming from Italian heritage I can be quite critical, but it was an absolute pleasure to eat at this totally authentic restaurant. Can not recommend Carbonara @ 49 highly enough. Will definitely be back."
"Excellent, delicious food. The service was outstanding, very friendly staff. The pasta was as good as any we have had in Italy, the tiramisu is probably the best I have ever had. We were with our Italian friend who confirmed the food was very authentic. The venue itself has a very nice feel and is spacious. The bathroom had proper baby-changing facilities which will be great for families - this is something other restaurants should aim for! I highly recommend this restaurant! We will definitely be going back!"
