"Even though it’s a drive we choose this chippy because usually it’s amazing. I wouldn’t give any lower stars because it’s always been super tasty, apart from this one time. Plus the staff are lovely! We were just a little bit disappointed to order haddock and get cod and chips a little different than usual. I think I would probably go back, but I think I’d double check if the order was correct next time! We were too far away to complain so I had to just not eat it."

"My housemate recommended Terry's as the best fish and chips in Widnes. Could not agree more! The portion sizes are massive, the price is reasonable, and I've yet to have a meal that isn't good. My go-to is the fish & chips with mushy peas and it has always been fantastic. The staff is friendly, the place seems clean, the service is great. I wish they accepted card payments, as they're cash only, but that's literally the only thing I would change."
