"A real proper old English Pub /Inn dating back to 1722. Just watch the door dosen't bang when you enter. We called in on a Monday evening after visiting for a drink previously on a Sunday (need to book) The food looked amazing including the enormous Yorkshire Puddings! We had food from the Menu (all home cooked) the cheese pie was the best & very filling. A great place to visit Great Budworth & call in for some liwuid refreshment or something to eat. The staff were very friendly."

"Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Was busy but the service was still quick and friendly. Had the fish and chips...this is the large and they weren't lying! Food was excellent. Proper country pub atmosphere and located in one of the prettiest villages in Cheshire. Highly recommended!"
