"We often make for Hungry Horse pubs, such good value. As usual couldn't fault the meal and the price. Monday afternoon so not busy. Meal was fairly quick being served and was very hot. The seats could do with a lot of attention, very well worn and faux leather had worn off to cloth in lots of places. Having said that it was very clean and didn't distract from our meal, when back in area will call again"

"Our previous visit here wasn't great but we decided that it's been a while so we'd give it another go. Glad we did! Food was good, served hot and in good portions. Staff excellent. Nice atmosphere, although not packed out with guests. (Didn't seem "deserted") Plus point is there are no TV screens showing Sky Sports all over the place as in some other local eateries. Only minor criticism is the lighting wasn't great. Low light good for atmosphere but doesn't help when us old 'uns are trying to read the menu! Will certainly put it back on our "prefered" list of places to eat."
