"Great Traditional Fish and chip shop. Welcoming staff. Food cooked very well and extremely tasty good size portion of fish chips of peas for the money £7.10. Highly recommend this chip shop if you visit the area."

"The two of us visited in January 2022 and had 2 portions of fish and chips. We both agreed they were the best fish and chips we've ever had! We've had many portions of fish n chips from different establishments since then and use the Golden Hind as our quality benchmark. So far no one has come close to beating them!"

"Lovely fish and chips - friendly staff, little space with a couple of picnic benches next to the shop to eat if wanted and we got our first taste of a 'scone' which I'm told is a Yorkshire specialty - you need to try it - I'd definitely go back for that (flavour is a bit like a Scotch pie - strange! - I really don't know how but it was delicious!). Small portion of fish and chips in the photo."
