"Parked here to do the Kings Clipstone Circuit walk, and booked a table for afterward. Food was absolutely stunning, and really very reasonable for the quality. Came to about £60 for two mains, two desserts and a pint each. Sadly we couldn't tip on card, but the service was very good. Would definitely come back if we were in the area again!"

"Visited Saturday night, delicious food and very well presented. Probably the best fish sharing board I've ever had! Great selection of drinks and very tasty cocktails expertly prepared. "Lovely location, the staff were very professional and tentative. They were some of the friendliest people we've came across. We popped in here after go ape. The flavours of the dishes were well thought out and delicious. I would of given a 5 if they rendered the fat of the pork. This seemed a little lazy not being done. A bit of salt and a few scores would done the trick. If we are ever in the area again, we will be back and recommending you to people."

"Staying at Forest Holidays and hugely recommend the 15 min wall to this pub/restaurant. The decor inside is really nicely done and the food itself is absolutely amazing. One of the nicest meals I've had in a long time. Perhaps not the cheapest but totally worth every penny. They also do cocktails but was too stuffed to try them!!"
