"I’d been here on several occasions a few years ago and always really liked it so was surprised to see a few recent negative reviews.. despite this a group of 6 of us decided to give it a go while in the area and we are really pleased we did as every one of us really enjoyed our food. I had fish and chips and my partner had sausage and mash, both loved our meals. Staff extremely friendly too- I’d recommend anyone to give this place a try"

"Had a Christmas lunch here today, what a disaster. The Yorkshire puddings were burnt to a crisp, no roast potatoes, no cranberry sauce. The salmon was dry as a bone and the “new potatoes” were old potatoes that looked like they were from yesterday, they were grey and hard!!! Don’t waste your money by going here I’m sure there are other places in the locality where you will get what you pay for. The manager was “too busy” to speak to our party of 18, instead left it to the waitress who was clearly embarrassed by the quality of the food. We were given a small discount on the final bill but that didn’t take away the disappointment felt by everyone."

"Called in on chance for a Sunday roast. The staff were excellent very friendly and efficient. The food was also excellent and great value. Would really recommend the Three Horse Shoes. The photo was the only one I took the vegetables were served in a sperate bowl as well as more gravy."
