"The food restaurant for the premier inn next door . They have outside seating looking over the quay. A ground floor with bar and comfortable seating where we had dinner. Breakfast was on the 1st floor , helpfully they had a lift. Breakfast was good, English, but they did run out of some of the pastries."

"Passing by on a wet day and feeling hungry thought "why not"? Not so busy and, taking advantage of the 2 course £9.95 menu was pleasantly surprised. Tea and coffee extra but reasonably priced. Chicken wings and cauliflower popcorn was succeeded by gammon and a lasagne. Everything was freshly cooked, was hot and served with a smile. Well happy."

"Nice pleasant staff, breakfast tasty. Shame the price at pay was more than advertised, it might only be 49p per meal, but why have old menus to view at every table but charge more? We did query it and the waitress said they were awaiting new menus later in the day and she'd have to get rid of all the old ones."

"The food here was terrible. My friend and I had a bowl of soup each which looked and tasted like ketchup on a ridiculously pale bun. It was also very small, literally 3 tablespoons of soup for £6.50. We ordered some regular and sweet potato fries too. Didn't even finish them. We weren't offered any sauces to go with the fries either. We got some eventually after chasing a waitress around the room. I wouldn't recommend this place."

"Not much atmosphere as pretty deserted but as there were 12 in our party created plenty of our own. Server was fiendly and very efficient. Food good quality for lunch value menu. Will return as a group."
